The 2 nd place team, Isaac and Tom Budesilich delivered a fine bag of Delta Largemouth that tipped the scales at 21.38 pounds. In 3 rd , the team of Leroy Bertolero and Bernie Guant combined the Big Bass of the tournament, a spawned out 9.7 pound sow caught by Bernie, and 4 other nice bass for a 20.38 pound limit. In 4 th Homer Clark and Bob Gamble combine their skills to catch a fine limit for 19.1 pounds. Now, take a look at this! This 21 boat field combined to take home over $4200.00 in cash prizes with the Staffords leading that column with $1,906.50 in winnings! Team Budesilich pocketed $1,039.50, Leroy Bertolero and Ber- nie Guant combined their Big Bass check and tournament win- nings for $943.00 and Homer Clark amd Bob Gamble took home $334.00 for their days effort.
Twenty one teams launched from B&W Marina on a day that would prove tough for some and outstanding for a few. Topping the outstanding list was the team of Sean and Brian Stafford who brought the winning five bass limit to the scales of 26.22 pounds. The Stafford’s limit eclipsed second place by nearly five pounds!

The sixth tournament of the Angler’s Choice Motherlode Pro Team Circuit for 2009 was held 05/09/09 out of Glory Hole Marina at New Melones. Twelve teams signed up and six teams brought 5 fish limits to the scales. 1 st Place for the tournament went to Lee Sanchez (Valley Springs) and Dennis Tarap (Murphys). Lee and Dennis fished up river and brought a nice bag of fish to the scales weighing 21.35 lbs with a 4.97 lb big fish. They took home $1279 for 1 st Place and Options. 2 nd Place went to Jim Moulton (Merced) and Jeff Auxier (Modesto). Jim and Jeff brought in five fish that went 16.49 lbs. with tournament Big Fish of 6.76 lbs.Jim and Jeff collected $802 for 2 nd Place, Big Fish and Options. 3 rd Place went to Kyle Rasmussen and Joe Menzies of Angels Camp. Kyle and Joe had 15.49 lbs and took home $170 for 3 rd Place Options. 4 th Place and first out of the money went to Jeff Frey (River- bank) and Jason Remmers (Valley Springs) with a total weight of 9.58 lbs. Jeff and Jason each won a $25 gift certificates courtesy of C&C Marine of Modesto. 5 th Place and second out of the money went to Dick Graue (Acampo) and William Vernon (Valley Springs) with a total weight of 8.52lbs. Dick and William each won a $25 gift certificate to Glory Hole Sports.
