tailspinners and blade baits – they’re mystery lures of sorts. We’ve heard about them, they make sense, we’ve even bought a few – but we haven’t yet worked them into our arse- nals. Why? To an extent they’re seen as niche lures, used in seasons and situations few of us fish. And, the plain truth of it is, we’re more comfortable throwing something else like a dropshot worm or rattletrap, which we hope will more or less work just as well.
